The swords and daggers have all been sheathed and the trebuchets all dismantled. A real peace has finally washed the blood and despair from the surface of Eminar.

By signing the Treaty of Carilsony, each of the Nine Nations formally renounces their independent sovereignty, uniting as one to form the Democratic Republic of Adamantine. And now, the many towns and villages so decimated by the destruction and famine of the Dark War, can begin the long process of restoration and rejuvenation.

Mayor designates have been chosen from throughout all Adamantine and charged with resettling areas of the once inhospitable Ancient Lands. But commitments must first be made by all the mayors before establishing their villages—commitments that are meant to rejuvenate the diminished will and vitality of the people.

Even before the Dark War began, many promises, projects and goals were often broken or left undone by governors and mayors throughout Eminar. This was also the case among the citizens themselves who mimicked the behavior of those who governed them. This lethal sickness of futility and complacency, plaguing the will of the people and their leaders, reached the height of debilitation during the bloodiest and most destructive years of the war. But now that peace has finally come to the entire world and resettlement of the Ancient Lands begun, mayors, governors, and leaders throughout Adamantine make a fresh commitment to themselves and their citizens to be mindful of their resolve.

But the new mayors must be vigilant, for skipping Daily Tasks and Habits, or leaving Goals incomplete will cause unrest in their villages.
